With the Foscam VD1 users can receive real-time alerts on their smartphone, watch in crystal 2K clear video, and talk with the built-in mic and speaker. This doorbell also works with standard mechanical or digital chimes already in the home.
CLEAR AND CRISP HIGH DEFINITION VIDEO
This camera can capture 4MP high-definition videos and images at 2K and 25fps with it’s wide angle lens, so you can see everything you need with crystal clear clarity. This camera also includes a built-in high-efficiency IR LED for crisp night vision up to 5m in complete darkness.
The doorbell also makes use of leading edge H.265 video compression, which has the advantages of lower storage and efficient bandwidth savings, all while maintaining high-quality video previews and recordings.
FACE DETECTION
This video doorbell offers face detection in addition to motion and sound detection. This face detection feature is able to distinguish human faces from other types of objects to reduce false alerts. When enabled, it will send you an alert only when the a human face is detected.
FACE RECOGNITION
With the optional paid Foscam Cloud account, you can set up profiles of specific people, and the video doorbell can let you know who’s at your door.
LOCAL AND CLOUD STORAGE
The VD1 has a built in SD card slot so it can save high resolution video directly on the device.
Foscam’s cloud storage plan offers 7 day recording securely in the cloud, secured by Amazon Web Services.
TWO-WAY TALK
With a built-in speaker and mic, you can talk and communicate with whoever is at your door. With this doorbell you can say hi, give instructions, or get rid of unwanted guests from wherever you are with your smartphone.
DUAL-BAND WIFI
The device uses dual-band wifi, meaning it can be paired with either 2.4 GHz or 5GHz networks. If available, a 5GHz network connection is stronger and can reduce signal interference.
FLEXIBLE INSTALLATION
3 different brackets are included with this product if the viewing angle needs to be adjusted, making the camera placement more flexible – put it where it works for you.
Conveniently, the doorbell also works with existing mechanical and electronic doorbell chimes, meaning there’s one less thing to worry about.
WORKS WITH FOSCAM APP
The Foscame mobile app allows you to view live streaming, talk, listen through your doorbell, and receive instant real-time alerts to your smartphone and more.
The PC app acts as a video management software for storing, finding, viewing, and managing videos on your computer.
